Canadian Natural featured H2nanO's SolarPass as a key water technology in their 2022 case studies report.
Water used in oil sands operations may require treatment for downstream use. H2nanO recently demonstrated our SolarPass technology to reduce the potential impacts from proces-affected water on aquatic life, through a joint industry project with Canadian Natural Resources and COSIA. H2nanO validated improvements to the treated water within one week of passive treatment and are working to refine the technology for CNRL's operations.
